Our mission is to provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where family members of those struggling with addictions can address fears and concerns while receiving support, psychoeducation, information about resources, validation and strategies for managing this difficult situation.
This group will cover issues such as:
How to get a loved one into treatment
Dealing with the anger, frustration, shame and chaos of living with an addict
Taking care of ourselves during this overwhelming situation
Identifying dual disorders since psychiatric problems go hand in hand with substance abuse problems
How to cope when family members not on the same page about treatment
Getting restraining orders or court orders when the addict is threatening the safety of the family
How to access additional community resources like Alanon and Alateen and Narcanon
This is an ONGOING, drop-in group, when means you can start anytime. Just purchase a ticket through out eventbrite page to start attending.
